Meet Dwayne Bannon Harrison & Bill Simpson

Dwayne Bannon-Harrison and Bill Simpson are two esteemed Indigenous leaders shaping Australia’s cultural and culinary landscape. Dwayne, a proud Yuin man, is the Indigenous Ambassador for Trippas White Group, bringing over 17 years of experience in immersive dining experiences that celebrate First Nations heritage. As the founder of Ngaran Ngaran Culture Awareness and co-founder of Mirritya Mundya, he blends traditional Indigenous flavors with contemporary cuisine. Bill, a proud Wakka Wakka man, has 25 years of experience as a chef and mentor, working with communities to create lasting employment opportunities. Now Taronga’s Indigenous Education Officer, he supports cultural programs and Indigenous staff while serving on Taronga’s Aboriginal Advisory Group. Together, they bring a wealth of knowledge, passion, and expertise to their work, fostering connection, education, and cultural appreciation
